Every week we rescue and distribute over 14 tonnes of surplus food to more than 1,200 local families. We need volunteer drivers to keep the wheels turning.
Every single week, Goodness Enterprises rescues and distributes over 14 tonnes of surplus food to more than 1,200 local families across the West Moreton region. That food does not move itself. It moves because of a fleet of refrigerated transport, a network of commercial suppliers, and — most importantly — a team of volunteer drivers who are out there making it happen.
The role is real and it matters. Volunteer drivers help with early morning runs to collect rescued produce, the delivery of emergency hampers to families in crisis, and quality checks that ensure food arrives fresh and safe. It is hands-on, physical, and one of the most direct ways to make a measurable difference in your community.
You do not need prior logistics experience to start. You need a valid driver's licence, reliability, and a willingness to serve your local community. Our team coordinates schedules, manages routes, and ensures every driver is supported so you are never left to figure it out alone.
Volunteer drivers are part of our broader Volunteer Village — a community of locals serving across food relief, conservation, events, and administration. Some give a few hours a month, others several days a week. All of them are the reason Goodness Enterprises can do what it does.
If you have ever wanted to volunteer but were not sure where to start, this is an impactful role where you see the results of your work every day. If you can drive and have time to spare, register your interest on our volunteer page — our team will be in touch.
