The GiveGoodness Centre is our most ambitious project yet — a planned community hub featuring a 30-tonne food warehouse, a community cafe, and shower facilities for people experiencing homelessness in Ipswich.
Later this year, we plan to open the GiveGoodness Centre — the most ambitious project in Goodness Enterprises' history, and one we believe will be transformational for the Ipswich community. It is still in development, but the vision is clear and the planning is well advanced.
The GiveGoodness Centre is designed to house three critical services under one roof. First, a 30-tonne capacity food relief warehouse that will multiply our distribution capacity many times over, allowing us to rescue, store, and distribute dramatically more food to families and partner groups across the West Moreton region. Second, a community cafe providing hospitality training pathways for our Skilling Queenslanders for Work trainees, while offering a warm, welcoming space where everyone belongs. Third, shower facilities that restore dignity and basic hygiene access for people experiencing homelessness in Ipswich.
This project is being designed to be built by our community, for our community. The vision is that our construction trainees would gain hands-on carpentry, concreting, and site skills while contributing to a real community build — exactly the kind of earn-while-you-learn pathway the Goodness Enterprises impact engine is designed to create.
As we move toward making the GiveGoodness Centre a reality, we are actively seeking business partners who want to be part of something genuinely lasting. The GiveGoodness Centre is not just a building. It is a statement that in Ipswich, we look after our own — socially, economically, and spiritually.
We will continue to share updates as the project progresses from plan to reality. If your business wants to be part of this story, the Goodness Business Membership and our business partnership and advertising options are open and ready to welcome you.
