Operating Monday to Friday (9am-3pm). Alfresco dining priced generally 20% below regular café pricing with special offers for Food Store clients.

Managing Work Skills Traineeships and Government-funded employment programs to provide vital pathways for young and disadvantaged job seekers.

Goodness Barber Shop
Partnering with a leading Ipswich salon to run a "Barber Bus" alongside our Café, providing low-cost haircuts and valuable trainee work experience.

Goodness Community Centre
Providing safe, dedicated meeting rooms for local community organisations and support groups to connect and collaborate.

Homeless Facilities
Showers and laundromat facilities to restore dignity and provide basic needs for those doing it tough.
Goodness Conservation
Covering 43.6 acres of green space and officially zoned Koala Bushland on Coal Road, Chuwar. The Goodness Enterprises Chuwar Conservation Reserve straddles the riparian zone along Sandy Creek, ensuring a sustainable legacy for native flora and fauna.

Ms Viktoriya Kolos-Ushakova is an important member of the team at Goodness Enterprises Limited, leading social media and marketing initiatives across the organisation and its community projects. Viktoriya first joined Goodness Enterprises as a Certificate I Business trainee and continued her professional development with the organisation by completing her Certificate III in Business.
Through her dedication, creativity, and passion for community engagement, Viktoriya has grown into a highly valued part of the Goodness team. With experience as a social media blogger and digital content creator, she brings fresh ideas, strong communication skills, and a creative approach to promoting the organisation’s mission, events, social enterprises, and community impact initiatives.
Viktoriya plays a key role in strengthening the online presence of Goodness Enterprises by helping share powerful community stories, building engagement across social platforms, and increasing awareness of programs that support vulnerable individuals and families. Her ability to connect with audiences through authentic and engaging content has become a valuable asset to the organisation.
Her journey from trainee to marketing and social media representative reflects the mission of Goodness Enterprises — creating real opportunities for growth, skills development, and empowerment within the community.
Mike Bain brings a wealth of management experience to Goodness Enterprises. With a proven track record in both corporate and non-profit sectors, he is a Specialist and hands-on Manager with a very rewarding career with Telstra, NBN Co and Help Enterprises along with Bain & Company and Juva Life. Mike is diversified in a variety of technical, administrative, business, engineering, contract, process and quality management positions.
Mike’s past 15 years were specifically in National Quality Assurance, Safety and Risk Specialist Management positions supporting Regional, State Technical and Team Managers through to General Managers, and Executive Director levels in auditing end to end technical assurance and business processes as well as providing Policy, Process and Procedure Support.
Mike had additional safety, health and environment / quality project management roles since 1990 within Telstra, externally with Scouts Australia, Australia Post/ Telstra Leisure and Lifestyle Pty Ltd and more recently in offshore companies in the USA ie., Juva Life and Bain & Company.
With over 40 years senior management and board level experience, Pastor Fred Muys’ management style is marked by a deep commitment to community service and effective leadership. With a background in both religious and organisational business and event management, Fred brings a unique blend of strategic vision and compassionate leadership to his role. His experience includes overseeing various community outreach programs, managing teams of volunteers and staff, and leading initiatives aimed at addressing local needs.
Pastor Muys’ approach to management is characterised by a focus on fostering strong relationships, creating collaborative environments, and driving impactful change. His leadership style emphasises inclusivity, integrity, and a commitment to achieving shared goals. Under his guidance, organisations have successfully executed complex projects, built strong community connections, and enhanced their overall effectiveness.
His extensive experience in managing community-based programs and his ability to inspire and mobilize people make him an asset to any team, ensuring that projects are not only well-managed but also deeply aligned with the needs and values of the community.
Mr. John Rivett is the Joint Managing Director of Goodness Enterprises Limited and practised as a Barrister for more than 40 years before transitioning to his current role as a Solicitor. Bringing decades of legal expertise and advocacy experience, Mr. Rivett provides strategic legal guidance and support across the Goodness Group of companies.
As an in-house advisor, he assists in assessing the strengths of legal matters and helps prepare cases from a practical and strategic legal perspective. Mr. Rivett also represents and advocates for clients in Arbitration, Mediation, and Court proceedings where required.
His extensive experience, sound judgement, and commitment to achieving positive outcomes make him a valued leader and trusted advisor within the organisation.
Sarah Carter serves as Executive Director and General Manager – Business Development for Goodness Enterprises. Since joining the organisation in 2018 as the SQW Hospitality Work Traineeship Project Manager, Sarah has held a range of leadership roles across the Goodness Group in hospitality, events, marketing, and social enterprise development.
With qualifications including a Diploma in Business and Business Management, Certificate IV in Training & Assessment, Certificate IV in Hospitality, and an Advanced Diploma in Hospitality Management, Sarah combines strong formal training with extensive hands-on leadership experience.
Sarah has become a key member of the organisation’s leadership team, recognised for her strengths in team management, event planning and coordination, business development, marketing, and community engagement. She has played an important role in developing new social enterprise initiatives, driving strategic partnerships, and securing grant and philanthropic funding to support the growth and impact of Goodness Enterprises.
Passionate about creating opportunities for vulnerable and disadvantaged communities, Sarah is committed to building sustainable programs and innovative business models that deliver real social impact for the community.
Dr Punde brings a wealth of expertise in environmental science and sustainability to Goodness Enterprises. With an extensive background in conservation and ecological management, Dr Punde leads our efforts to implement environmentally responsible practices and safeguard natural resources.
His role encompasses developing and executing conservation strategies, conducting environmental impact assessments, and fostering partnerships with local and regional environmental organisations. Dr Punde’s deep understanding of ecological systems and his commitment to sustainability drive our initiatives to minimise environmental impact and promote long-term ecological health.
Under Dr Punde’s guidance, Goodness Enterprises has enhanced its commitment to conservation through innovative practices and strategic planning. His leadership ensures that our projects not only meet operational goals but also contribute positively to the environment, aligning with our mission to support both the community and the natural world.
Ross is a seasoned professional with 40 years experience and a robust background managing construction projects while overseeing special initiatives. With extensive experience in the construction industry, Ross is adept navigating complex projects from inception to completion.
His expertise includes project planning, budget management, and coordination with contractors and stakeholders to ensure that each project meets its objectives on time and within budget. Ross is known for his meticulous attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to handle unforeseen challenges with agility.
Under Ross's leadership, construction and special projects at Goodness Enterprises are executed with precision and efficiency. Ross's dedication and expertise are crucial in bringing our infrastructure and special initiatives to fruition, enhancing our ability to serve the community effectively.
Ms Debora Casey is the Food Operations Manager for Goodness Enterprises Limited and plays a key role in overseeing the organisation’s food service operations and hospitality initiatives. With extensive experience in food preparation, kitchen operations, customer service, and team coordination, Ms Casey is passionate about delivering high-quality service while supporting positive community outcomes.
In her role, Ms Casey manages day-to-day food operations, ensures compliance with food safety and hygiene standards, and assists in creating efficient systems that support both staff and participants across the organisation’s community food programs.
Her strong work ethic, leadership, and commitment to supporting people facing barriers to employment make her a valued member of the Goodness Enterprises team.
